EPIK remote reservoir shock is always the right choice for your 4wd vehicle. They are with 2.25” and 2.5” steel tube and 22mm shaft makes them very strong. Imported parts like Germany racing oil, Japan and UK seals kits are also used to improve their performance and durability. 24-stage compression adjustment and 24-stage rebound adjustment are enough for personal off-road and even racing events. Maneuverability and comfort never compromise!
Maneuverability
Shocks have been calibrated strictly before mass production. Through driving on different road sections like express way, bumping roads, mountain roads, rain forests, and racing terrains, damping force is adjusted according to different drivers’ feelings. In this way, shocks can be adjusted to meet the maneuvering demand of different drivers.
Comfort
Off-road driving comfort is strictly connected with the vehicle’s suspension system. Only shocks with good damping performance can provide effective long-journey driving without damage to the CV joint and wheels. Comfort is not only related to the product’s factory setting damping force, but also affected by the thermal attenuation, wearing attenuation, and valve system responding speed on emergency road sections after a period of driving. EPIK shock absorbers use a mono-tube design which has fast valve responding, Germany FUCHS5045 racing oil with a working temperature of -45~160℃, compensation design of parts wearing to ensure slow damping attenuation and double-insurance inflating seal design to avoid air leakage.
Safety
With ultra precisely grinded 35CrMo alloy steel piston rod, thickened straight quilting milling steel tube and T7075 aviation aluminum machined parts, the shock intensity and piston motion smoothness have been enhanced greatly. Overall tensile strength is over 1000KN. Safety is guaranteed as there will be no malfunction such as break, bending, and wearing oil leakage during racing or high intensive off-roading.
Low Noise
EPIK shock absorbers use Germany FUCHS racing oil to reduce the friction noise between oil seal and piston rod and Teflon piston ring to reduce the friction noise between the piston ring and tube inner body. Shocks are properly assembled and each shock will be tested to ensure its low friction force before it leaves the factory.
Heat Dissipation
The remote reservoir is made of T6061 aluminum to ensure its heat dissipation. Even during extreme off-road, the oil temperature will be under 100℃.
Adjustment Design
EPIK shock absorbers have three types of adjustment: Compression adjustment, Compression + Rebound adjustment, Compression + Rebound + Internal bypass to meet the demand of entertainment off-road, long-distance travel, and high-intensity competitions. Internal bypass is suitable for racing and long-distance travel. Damping force during medium travel of the shocks is soft to ensure the comfort of daily driving and slightly bumping roads. The damping force of end travel 3.5cm is enhanced to ensure flying jump and extreme bumping roads to ensure that the shocks will not hit the bottom and protect the suspension, CV joint, and wheels of the vehicle.
High-Performance Coil Springs
Coil springs are made of imported TDCrSi to avoid bending and sinking and to support safety and comfort.
